About Me

It all started when…

I was first introduced to a dance class during my junior year in high school. I loved dancing salsa so much that by my senior year I was running my own dance class as an after school activity at my high school. In 2004 I started my formal ballroom and Latin dance training at a local dance studio in Houston, Texas. I was very lucky that Lynn Ferguson, a formal three-time undefeated nine-dance champion, was also teaching there. She took me under her wing, and it as then that started my competitive dance training. After about two years of dancing together, my dance partner and I decided we wanted to compete in the professional American Rhythm Division. We made our debut at Randy Ferguson’s Dance Houston Competition. Things came full circle three years later when we won first place in the Pro Open Rhythm Championship at that same event. Since then, I’ve traveled all over the US to compete and perform, and I’ve won several championships in both the Rising Star Rhythm and the Open Professional Rhythm divisions. I’ve been extremely lucky to have learned from some of the most amazing dancers in the industry such as Lynn Ferguson, Corky Ballas, Olga Richardson, Kristina Rihanoff, Emmanuel Pierre-Antoine, Liana Churilova, Julia Powers, and Michale Wentik to mention just a few.

I recently moved to the state of Washington with my family, and I am very excited to continue to share my passion for dance with the the dancers from the Seattle/Tacoma area.
